We provide high-quality stems of World Rock music.
Yes! You will get drums, bass, guitars, vocals, and other tracks of a song as individual audio files!
Such formats are also known as multitrack, isolated tracks, studio sessions, raw tracks, playback, custom backing tracks, etc.
The collection is played by virtuoso musicians and recorded by experienced engineers following all the best practices and modern standards of the sound-engineering.
Premium Members have access to the FULL LIBRARY designed for creative and business tasks of any complexity level and scale. High-quality straight `from-the-box` allows you to reach good results even if you're an absolute beginner! Make a custom mix or playback for your cover band, repetitions, and jam sessions. Learn incomprehensible nuances of arrangement, transcribe parts, widen repertoire, and more. With ROCKMTR.COM, all these things will become easier and faster for you!
The content is provided in a universal multitrack format. All sound files are ready to be imported into any program or device. You don't have to buy or install additional software or hardware to start working with the library. For quick mixdown or easy tasks, you may use freeware audio editors. Even free editors are advanced enough and can give you the ability to prepare different versions of the output mix and save your working projects to modify them in the future. More experienced users can choose the program themselves; usually, they work in Cubase or ProTools. Please take into account: complex tasks and deeper customizations of our stems, for instance, using VST/RTAS plugins and virtual synths, require more computer resources and possible upgrade of your machine.
The universal format removes the question of which program to use at all. It all depends on your final goals and habits as well.
Ultimately, as our practice has shown, the choice of instrument is a purely technical question, and it's not as important as your final result!
For PC / MacFiles could be opened in any desktop audio editor on your PC/MAC (such as Cubase, ProTools, etc.).
For Android / IOSImport files into any mobile multitrack player application for the Android / IOS platform.
For Hardware DAWYou can import files into your hardware sampler or workstation of any vendor (Korg, Roland, and more).
We record as many live instruments as possible. First, a live performance is what the listeners expect. If you ask any rock fan what the most important thing for him in this music is, you will hear the answer "Live sound". The authentic and dirty sound of drums and guitars is the essence of rock music. In the history of rock, there are examples of complex multi-layered arrangements, symphonized and saturated with synthesizers or orchestral instruments. We can find many rock mixes with complicated post-processing (multi-layer analog reverb like CLA), double tracks, etc. It may remain a mystery for us how such arrangements are created and how such a mix is ββdone if the arranger, producer, or engineer won't tell us how it was made. One thing is for sure - the core of all these experiments are the sources of the live band. Tube amps (or IC emulation) and branded drum kits covered with top-end microphones. All these things are necessary to get a genuine rock sound. We need musicians feeling the peculiarities of the genre and sound engineers with insights into how this equipment work.
It's a challenging task! Do you have enough resources to make such records yourself? Why don't you spend time creating original compositions instead of re-recording songs already recorded, not yours? Why do not you entrust this task to the experienced team working on an industrial scale? It's okay if you don't have these resources, but you might say, I can use MIDI, VST/RTAS. How many rock bands have you met that record MIDI-guitar instead of live guitar? You may like it because it costs nothing to you. Indeed, it is free, but how long does it take? Don't you feel sad about the time wasted? How often have you been frustrated after spending hours on a midi project when you compared your final result to a live band playing? The more experience you have, the more willing you are to admit that MIDI doesn't work as required in rock. There are a lot of sample libraries out there today, but when it comes to rock, they take up space on your hard drive and no more. Live performance is replete with many nuances. Most minor but crucial things are sometimes needed in a particular bar or passage. Depending on the song's complexity, it can take significant time to emulate all these nuances. But it's not worth it! A live musician, not even the most skilled, will do all this work in just a couple of takes! It's the second reason we don't waste time on midi and don't recommend that you do. Live recording is a faster and cheaper process. We want you to stop walking down the path of disappointment. Here's our happy path download our live sources if they fit your current task, and change them as your task requires. We will be glad if our library can help you! Get a live band in your daw right now!
Multitracks dramatically expand your creative horizons and make your music brighter! You will finally get what you have been looking for - multi-channel editing and routing! RockMtr will completely change your working schemes and become a priceless find. It can make your processes more effective regarding professional production or entertainment. Here's what we can do thanks to the isolation of tracks:
Set the channel's volumes and pan independently
Adjust EQs. Colorize any tracks as you want
Apply any FXs. Virtual or hardware
Re-play and change parts of the arrangement
Change the whole song's form, invent mash-ups and potpourri
Manipulate multitrack projects in a real-time
Create lots of different versions of the final mix
Work with your projects in accustomed DAW
Transpose songs more preciously, leave non-melodic parts untouched
Make transparent and smooth cross-fades, glues, cuts, and transitions in editing
Send tracks to different output busses of your device
Build custom routing between 2 or more physical devices
Your very favorite songs are available on the RockMTR! We have thousands of songs from rock history, from vintage rock 'n' roll and Classics of Rock to hot new releases and contemporary top-chat leaders. There are not only songs that have become classics and will live forever but also lesser-known compositions that are familiar only to connoisseurs of the genre. We hope that you will find something that suits your taste in all this variety of music.

Reference VocalEach track includes lead and backing vocal parts performed by professional vocalists close to the original melody, manner, and mood.
SyncronizationAll audio tracks in our library are synchronized. First, create a new project with BMP shown in the track info, then drag-n-drop files to the timeline.
Free Demo MixThe full reference mix is always available for free. You can verify if the form and arrangement are correct before paying for a Membership.
Basic MixdownsPremium Members can download existing mixes with or without vocals. You can run your DAW only when customization is required.
Clear StructureAll projects are easily manageable and well-structured. They have a strict and precise order of tracks repeating from one song to another.
Some other libraries deliver projects unstructured or chaotically (out-of-sync tracks, no click, unfinished parts, dupes) because they take them from different sources. Producing multitracks ourselves, we keep a strict structure for all our titles. Unstructured content can significantly slow down an importing process discouraging you from getting to work. We value your time! Working professionally for a long time, we understand our users' needs very well! We've prepared all these things ` from the box.`
We reproduce existing songs as close to the original as possible. We respect the authors of music and lyrics, and most listeners, as practice shows, want to hear a song one-on-one from the musicians and singers making covers. If you need some unusual cover version, you will not find one here; you better do it yourself because we cannot guess your wishes. However, you can still use some existing parts of our stems as the basis for the brand-new arrangement.
Here's what we're looking at: the original arrangement and form of the song, the order of verses, choruses and breaks, stop-times, drum fills, and so on. All these things never differ from the original. We also follow the authentic manner and mood, looking for similar timbres and achieving a similar sound when mixing. What about mixes' quality? Some users notice (and we are very proud of it, of course) that our multitrack sometimes sounds better than the original. This is easily explained. At the time of their production (in the middle of the last quarter of the XX century), engineers might not have had such perfect sound tracts and recording devices that were affordable at the same time as at the beginning of the 21st century, when we decided to re-record and publish these tracks. But why should we talk?

Testimonials
Putting your creative energy into creating something new would be much more attractive than replaying existing songs. It's the powerful argument for those who wish to do everything themselves to use ready-made stempacks if their quality is up to the task!
Bob Clearmountain - Mixing Engineer
The main difference of this library is the artistic performance of all parts. These are not just formal renditions, but artistically complete songs. There are many libraries with good sound and proper arrangements, but emotions are more important in this instance!
George Anderson - Bassist, Shakatak
I've had access to a number of libraries, but not all of them are as well structured and ordered as this one. In some cases, it took me hours to get started but here, if you learned the structure of one project, you don't have to comprehend the structure of the others.
Bruce Rickerd - Guitarist, Cirque du Soleil
There is absolutely no comparison with other paid or free platforms! I appreciated the excellent quality of these stems. Finally, I can learn all the electric and acoustic guitar parts of my favorite songs that I've been studying for some time. And also bass, which I'm trying to learn.
Vanderlei B.P. Neto - Singer, Guitarist
Such an extensive library can be interesting for those who want to improve themselves as performers or test their vocal boundaries. Here you can quickly update your repertoire and not worry that you overpay for phonograms if the song doesn't suit your voice.
Phoenix Pagliacci - Singer
This library is a great timesaver for many cases. You guys do a colossal job! You do not need to record phonograms when you have many tasks, even if you know how! It is easier to entrust this work to professionals. Maybe take a break or sleep!

With RockMTR, you will break barriers existing! We can help to improve your strategies and shorten your way if you have a final goal and this goal is clear for you. The goal should be unattainable; the only way you can achieve at least something. Consider it the law. Maybe not right now, but you will agree with that. We need to move from point a to point b as quickly as possible, and we know a relatively simple route. When you find yourself at point b, everything will be determined by your creative thinking and imagination, but not by time limits, technical skills, or other restrictions. We will help you remove obstacles to your goal, to point B. Perhaps the path will take time, and you will need intermediate points. It will be happy-path. Are you ready to work more creatively? Those things that previously seemed unattainable and difficult for you will soon become just a stage passed!
Having high-quality multitracks as a basis for your production or practice, you can focus on other equally important tasks. You will improve yourself and have more rest, saving energy to move forward. We hope that our library is just a new starting point on your way. We're delighted to help thousands of people around the World! It's time for you to be sequenced, and it's time for you to act. Let's go!

ShredImprove your technique! Balanced and rhythmically organized accompaniment with a click-track can instill good habits in you.
ImproviseImprovise with a live band! The accompaniment of a live ensemble playing in the best traditions will push you to play with style and taste.
Clients come to your studio not because you bought expensive speakers and soundproofed the walls. They come to you because you are there. They choose your studio for approaches to making their sound. Your studio brand is not a beautiful logo or a beautiful name. Your studio brand is yourself. No one except yourself determines your work's essential requirements and professional level. Scale up your scope if the market challenges you! When your clients ask for backing tracks or cover recordings, you can look for ready-made stems on RockMTR. Working with multitrack projects permanently, you know well what opportunities it gives!
With ready-made playbacks, you no longer need to pick up MIDI timbres and strain your ears transcribing parts! Not all good sound engineers have a musical education and such a good ear for transcribing complex arrangements. As we noted above, we record multitracks alive. This may be interesting if you need more time to invite a live band to your studio. We'll be glad if these materials can become a time-saver for a professional sound producer and reduce the labor intensity of at least one of the parts of your workflow!
How often have you tried to reproduce the sound of live instruments with VSTi, AKAI, or something? How often have you been disappointed while comparing the recording with the original? Indeed, everything is known in comparison. We acknowledge that some libraries' sounds' are very realistic, as well as the fact that there are styles where samples are more than enough... Unfortunately, rock is not in the number of these styles, and the live sound is essential here because it makes this music itself. The listener will take more pleasure in a live recording than a midi rendition, no matter how sophisticated you are in imitation.
One more powerful argument why you should only do some things yourself is that replaying existing songs does not bring such fun as creating something new. And when you have an arrangement that is not just very close to the original in the minor details, recorded in a professional studio, played alive, is it worth your while to try to make it better again? Perhaps this makes no sense. Drag 'n' drop live band's tracks to your working project and do whatever you want with them.
Throwing a karaoke party is a damn good idea! It's okay if your head hurts the next morning. What you will not be rooting about is what kind of musical surprise can be prepared, how we can express anyone in the audience!
It can be both a gift for a very dear person and a surprise for your guests. It's enjoyable to give and receive such musical gifts. If you have musician friends but can't get a full-fledged band for your karaoke party, you can make a karaoke version of your favorite songs by turning all those instruments that you can play live off or decreasing them to -9-12 dB and letting them duplicate your live part. Backing vocals also could be reduced or muted; it depends on your vocal abilities and whether you want to keep the original lyrics. If you plan a karaoke party, you should think about such gifts in advance, and there will be something to film, share and remember!
A music teacher is a person having a vital mission. You pass on what you know to the younger generation. But technology is developing by leaps and bounds, and it's hard to argue. Some teachers started twenty, thirty, or maybe even more years ago. In those years, there was no Internet, books and sheets were available only in the libraries, and every musician's technology on their cell phone today would generally seem like science fiction.
But let's be clear: don't you want your students to play better than you? If you do, then you are an excellent Teacher! We assume that you understand the possibilities multitrack will open up for your students and students in terms of transcribing, jamming, theory, harmony, and other disciplines.
You can determine what role this library will take in the educational process. You can consider the student's individual abilities and the tasks pursued. We do not doubt that it can also benefit you in theoretical and practical lessons!
Good guys are those guys who read the F.A.Q. (as well as emails from the administration). If you buy a membership, there may be surprises in the letter (at the administration's discretion). If you could not pay for your Membership on the first try, please don't despair; sometimes, it happens, and you will receive a link to alternative payment gateways. In 99% of cases, the user can pay for his Membership without any problems. Alternative billing providers are helpful when our primary provider is not working with your credit card. We don't provide trial access to Premium Multitracks. Here's nothing to try... it works perfectly! Answers to all questions related to working with multitrack and Membership are in the F.A.Q. We also kindly ask you not to waste our time. We have a lot to do and too many tasks, and we do not always answer the person asking a question from our F.A.Q.
Beginners need quite a bit of patience and attention to figure everything out once calmly. Onboarding usually takes 10-20 min. The primary advice is not to rush; our F.A.Q is helpful in most misunderstandings.
